Accessibility statement
Last updated: 7 July 2026
We want everyone on your team to be able to complete their training. Cohort targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This statement is honest about where we meet that bar and where we are still working.
What conforms today
- Semantic structure with landmarks and a logical heading order on the learner and sign-in pages.
- Keyboard operability for core learning flows — navigating modules, answering quizzes and signing in.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators and support for the browser’s reduced-motion preference.
- Form fields with associated labels.
Known limitations
We are actively addressing these and will update this statement as they close:
- Some colour-contrast pairs on secondary UI elements are being raised to the AA threshold.
- A small number of interactive components need improved screen-reader announcements.
- Author-uploaded module content is only as accessible as the content itself; we provide guidance to admins on writing accessible material.
Conformance target
WCAG 2.2 Level AA is our standard for the core product. We do not claim full, audited AA conformance across every screen yet; a formal third-party audit is on our roadmap.
Tell us about a barrier
If you hit an accessibility barrier in Cohort, email hello@arshialearning.com.au with the page and what happened. We treat access issues as priority fixes and will tell you our plan.
